Neighborly Fun …

On my recent trip to the Central Coast of California (Los Osos to be exact), some of the neighbors joined me in a two hour Zentangle Intro class. It was really fun to share with these ladies and show them a little bit more about me! We bought a ‘get-away’ home here several years ago and usually come up each month – about a six hour drive from La Jolla. The peace and quiet, no crowds, and no traffic are the attraction, as well as still being on the coast near the Pacific Ocean.

The first tile was the usual ‘Z’ string, with crescent moon, hollibaugh, printemps and bales. After shading with graphite, they were ready for more. Continuing with the Autumn theme, I pre-sketched a pumpkin on a white Apprentice tile and we filled with several patterns. We added some leaves and embellishments, then put them in a mosaic to share. I was impressed by their tiles and I think they were too! I’m hoping to share again on future visits … they said they’re in!
