Sharing the Zentangle® Art Method in La Jolla & San Diego
The Diva Challenge gave us the task of “What’s black and white and red all over?” to come up with our tile this week. What that really meant was – use black, white and red only.
For my entry, I used a pre-strung Zendala and filled it with Poke Leaf, Poke Root, Paradox, Fassett, Beadlines and Printemps. I used a Sakura black and red pen for the lines and a red colored pencil to fill in some of the spaces. These colors are too bold for me, but hey, if you’re a San Diego State Aztec Fan – this tile is for you!
A couple weeks ago, our monthly Zentangle Club group met at Wendy’s house (who is anxiously awaiting announcement of the next CZT seminars!). She shared an awesome project with us using black and white paper, as well as black and white pens. It is so much fun to do, can’t stop. Here’s one I did just yesterday while hanging out with Janet Masey, my CZT friend, here in San Diego. She was unable to make the club meeting so I did my best to show her how it’s done – she provided the turtles!
